• Finds the real, unglamorous corner of a location rather than its postcard view.
• Natural light only, no fill; prefers open shade on the face and hazy morning sun.
• 35mm film camera, 50mm lens around f/5.6, eye level, about 3 m away.
• Blocking: the model is doing something ordinary, not posing; passers-by partial and soft at the edges.
• Look: Kodak Portra 400, true colour, natural grain, real skin texture and imperfections, no retouching.
